So Splendour in the Grass dropped its lineup this morning, and its a wondrous plethora of aural treats sure to move even the most stubborn of feets. But if you’re a bit stiff in the boogie muscles, if you fear the impending winter may take its toll on your festival form, if you’re in the mood to take a running start into Byron Bay, then maybe – just maybe – a little winter sojourn to the motherland could be in order for you.
England’s enormous Glastonbury Festival just so happened to drop their lineup for the 2015 edition today as well. And along with featuring a fairly hefty crossover of Splendour acts (world touring is a game of logistics, sports fans) they’ve piled on enough good times to make just about all of you consider doing some financial gymnastics and running to SkyScanner to suss international flights (Pro tip: book impromptu overseas jaunts whilst drunk. Reading the emails the next morning is a delightful treat.)
In terms of headliners, you’ve got your Kanye West‘s and your Foo Fighters and your yet to be announced special third headliners and such.
And it’s probably comforting to know that Florence Welch‘s broken foot – sustained during a Coachella stage jump – will more than likely be fully healed by the time Glasto rolls around.
Glastonbury takes place from June 24th till the 28th at Worthy Farm in England’s south-west – about a 3 hour drive from London. Full lineup is below.
