Kanye Educates Interviewer On Why He’s A Genius, Hates The Word ‘Humble’

If you have a spare two hours this morning, well, for one, we envy you, and for another, you could do a lot worse than watch the below, highly in-depth interview with Kanye West.
Yeezy sat down with SHOWstudio, and over the course of 120 minutes, talked matters related to fame, fashion, family, the presidency, and why it’s just ~easier~ for everyone to call him a genius.
Over the course of the interview, he spoke on Caitlyn Jenner:

“News cycles are constantly trying to find news and interesting things, like, ‘This rapper has a transgender person in his family.’ But then, it was like, fuck what people say. Fuck what people think. I feel proud to be in a family that has so many people breaking ground for the generations to come.”

On Kim Kardashian:

“My wife – she’s like MTV and NBC and blah-blah-blah. All this combined.”

On his unborn son:

“I don’t have a name for him. What I hope for him is that he can feel purpose, that he can learn, that he has the opportunities.”

On why he self-identifies as a genius:

“Otherwise, I’m called celebrity. I’m called n—er. I’m called rapper. And when they use the words celebrity, n—er or rapper, it’s not in a positive way. All those words can be used in an extremely positive way. What’s up, my n—a? But that’s not the way it’s used so I have to define who I am.”

On why he does not care for the concept of being humble:

“If we go on your iPhone and go to the dictionary and look up humble, 80 percent of the definition is negative. It’s a controlling word. It’s a way to control the masses and to control the sheep.”

He also spoke about his upcoming #Kanye2020 presidential run, saying that he had planned it with his team for a while in the lead-up to the announcement, and that he’s glad Obama has paved the way for him to run.
Watch the whole thing, why don’tcha:
