Today we made claims that the most awkward/cringe inducing exchange on Australian television happened on The Voice last night. We lied. It actually happened on The Project where cranky old man river, former Sex Pistols frontman and touring PiL member Johnny Rotten unleashed an acerbic, unwarranted and misogynistic tirade against co-host Carrie Bickmore on the grounds that she interrupted him too much.
Here are some actual things that Johnny Rotten thought it was alright to say to a woman or to anyone in the year 2013.

[When Bickmore calls him rude] So are you. You’ve got to learn more respect and manners.
Never mind the bollocks, Carrie. The whole of Australia is like this right now.
