What is it with dead celebrities and their posthumously uncovered sex tapes? The recent claims of a long lost Marilyn Monroe sex tape were dubious at best, however in the space of a few weeks yet another “alleged” celebrity sex tape has surfaced – this time starring Jimi Hendrix…
The film (shot on 8mm) sees Hendrix getting down with two slender brunettes (one can only hope they’re foxy ladies) in a hotel room. Released by American pornographic distributor Vivid, the video will retail online and on DVD for approximately forty American dollars and has been slated as a “sexual documentary”. With only 11 minutes of actual “money” footage the rest of the 45 minute film is made up of doco style interviews and live performances.
Vivid maintains that a full inquiry was launched into verifying the identity of the man in the sex tape and they have confirmed that it is in fact Jimi Hendrix. One of their experts however was Cynthia Plaster Caster a self confessed “recovering groupie” who earned her moniker by making plaster casts of a plethora of rockstars (including Hendrix) of the 1960’s. Oh yeah, she took casts of their genitals. That lady ain’t so foxy…
