Grimes Hints At New Album’s Release Date

Canadian Internet nymph Grimes has intimated that the follow-up to 2012’s breakthrough long-player Visions and her first album released under a new management deal with Roc Nation could be released in September, specifically on the ninth; which is also Canadian crooner’s Michael Bublé’s 39th birthday. Coincidence? Almost certainly.
The tentative release date was hinted at in a tweet written in response to one of those gushing Rihanna fans who refer to everyone as ‘my queen’ and devote their personal brands to questionable feats of unwarranted hero worship. I digress. Contrary to reports, writes Pitchfork, a representative has today confirmed that despite Boucher’s specificity, no release day has been set for “an album that’s halfway between ethereal reggaeton and industrial dance music but is still very pop.”
