It feels like only a few days ago when we first saw Flume play in front of like 20 people at a mid sized venue in Sydney. Now, the only logical circumstance under which Flume would play to anything less than 20 people anywhere in Australia is if he caught a private chopper to WA and performed live at some billionaire mining magnate’s son’s 18th birthday party.
But he ain’t done yet. The Sydney-based bedroom producer/Gen Y Australia’s spirit animal continues to make moves abroad as he readies the global release of a comprehensive four disc deluxe edition of his self-titled debut album, augmented with a cacophony of extra discs including his remix work, his work remixed, and a hip hop style mixtape featuring cameos from Freddie Gibbs, How To Dress Well and Wu Tang’s Ghostface Killah, the professional enormity of which cannot be overstated.

The package also includes a 70-minute tour documentary filmed during his Infinity Prism performance at the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney and a “Producer Disc” containing a copy of Ableton Live 9 Lite (Flume’s production software of choice), as well as the stems for “Holdin On”, “Insane”, and “On Top”.
