FBi Radio is on the hunt for Designers. Two of their favourites have landed themselves big important jobs and they need people to step in and take the baton. They’re looking for people who are creative, quick, and comfortable working with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Ideally you’ll also have a good idea of what FBi Radio stands for and an interest in Sydney music, art and culture. Girlfriend Magazine is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Designer to join its passionate and hard-working team for a 12-month maternity-leave contract. The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as a senior designer on a magazine, be bursting with creativity and imagination, be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CS4, have exceptional time-management and organisational skills, be able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure, have a keen interest in design and a portfolio of work showing an innovative approach to layouts, have experience working on the Mac operating system and have an understanding of magazine production cycles. The ideal candidate must have administration or music industry experience, the ability to multitask and think outside the square, enthusiasm and great people skills and a love of music. Cockatoo Film manages film festivals (Dungog Film Festival and Cockatoo Island Film Festival) and is a distributor of Australia feature films and is currently accepting applications for their Internship Program. Internships run for 3 months and require a 2 day per week commitment. If successful you will be working from the beautiful surrounds of Cockatoo Island.
