Ballarat teenagers Howl took out Triple J’s Unearthed High competition in late 2009 with ripping garage-punk howler “Blackout” and now they are back with a new single “Cabin Fever” that will transform these kids from unkempt highschool party rats into tit-signing, bourbon-swilling rock n roll scions.
They recently recorded their second EP Brothers in Violence in Melbourne with producer Woody Annison (Red Riders, Cabins) and we’ve got the exclusive download of “Cabin Fever” to get a taste of the record. Think organ solos, trademark snarling vocals and big rock hooks.
‘Brothers in Violence’ which will be released on the 3rd of September through I OH YOU/SHOCK Records. Check out Howl myspace page for more details.
