First Look At Allen Ginsberg Biopic HOWL

It’s been a Beatnik kinda week here at Pedestrian. We posted William Burroughs’ Stuff a few days ago and now the first clip from the forthcoming Allen Ginsberg biopic HOWL has hit the interwebs.

James Franco has the unenviable task of portraying the Beatnik icon and though there’s a smoky recital of his exalted (and abhorred) opus “Howl” and a sunnier bit about sighing we’re still undecided. If you’re unfamiliar with the life and times of Mr. Ginsberg the synopsis is as follows: “In 1956, one of the most controversial works of American art galvanized a generation. Now, the story behind Allen Ginsberg’s HOWL come to life in a genre-defying feature film that is at once a legal drama, a character study and an animated trip into the magic and madness of the modern world.”

Two questions.

1) What is an Angelheaded hipster?

2) Is Jon Hamm contractually obligated to wear a three-piece suit at all times? Also, we’re not complaining.
