Following in the fashion friendly footsteps of older sister and former Marc Jacobs face Dakota, Elle Fanning plays adolescent fashion muse in The Curve of Forgotten Things, a new Rodarte short film directed by Todd Cole. The film premieres Tuesday on LVMH content portal Nowness.com and aside from boasting the collective creative talent of Todd Cole, the Mulleavy sisters and the delightful 12 year old star of Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere, current Laneway draw card Deerhunter will provide the soundtrack. So much talent!
“It’s inspired by Northern California, and the Seventies. It’s about this girl who exists in this strange place outside of time. She’s digging up things from the land and the past, and she offers them to the sun,” Cole explained of the film.
