Brazilian indie-rock band Cansei de Ser Sexy are named after a quote from a Beyonce interview where she allegedly annouced “I’m tired of being sexy”, but ironically Canseri de Ser Sexy (better known as their acronym CSS) are clearly anything but tired of being sexy, after just revealing they’re working on their third full-length album.
Recent updates on both their Facebook and Twitter pages tell us the band has been in the studio recording, and while they haven’t leaked any new tunes at this stage it seems perhaps a gay anthem is on the way…
Let’s hope it’s as off the hook as they exclaim.
In the meantime lead singer and the unofficial queen of the spandex unitard, Lovefoxxx, has done a track with Japanese band 80kidz, “Spoiled Boy”. The clip for the song – a collaborative effort between illustrator Magico Nakamura and animator Masayoshi Nakamura – is pretty cool stuff too.
