He was in town putting on a concert for #TeamBreezy and his spirited dance moves must dislodged something in his brain, causing him to completely forget that he severely pissed off a giant conservative Filipino religious group and its 1,500,000-strong members by not showing up to a New Year’s Eve concert as promised.
The Department of Justice received a petition from the Church of Christ CEO Glicerio Santos saying: “We would appreciate any assistance you can provide to us … [against] producers and talents who employ such fraudulent schemes to obtain money from legitimate businesses in the country.” Their legal counsel is currently filing a criminal complaint for fraud since he didn’t show, “to the damage and prejudice” of the church.
According to Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Elaine Tan, his departure is now dependent on said group: “If the concerned agency raises no objection to the departure, then we will allow the subject to leave.”
From Brown’s side of things apparently he couldn’t turn up at the 55,000-seat arena because he lost his passport the day before. He had, of course, already been fully paid.
He has now pissed off another nation of fans and cancelled his upcoming concert in Jakarta, citing unspecified “safety concerns”.
#TeamBreezyJakarta due to safety concerns my show on July 25th will be rescheduled! Let’s keep spreading love around the world! #Pray4Peace

To which Coconuts Jakarta replied: “This is actually the third time Brown has cancelled a scheduled concert in Jakarta, following similar incidences in 2011 and 2013. Frankly, we hope he never makes it here.”
