Queen of pop and proud owner of the greatest Instagram of all time, Britney Spears, has just wrapped her Las Vegas residency.
The final performance of the four-year Britney: Piece Of Me residency went down on New Year’s Eve at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and was streamed live on ‘Murica’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest program. Since starting in 2013, the show has taken in more than US$100 million.
She pulled out all the stops for her final hoorah, including a whopping nine costume changes, almost all including sequins. Her iconic wireless microphone stayed in place the entire time.
Spears’ swan song was ‘Toxic‘, performed in a sparkling red bodysuit complete with matching choker, because of course it was:

Spears electrifying performance featured some of her most iconic moves: a smattering of jazzy pirouettes, a knee-slide into a seductive hair-spiralling head spin, a sensual floor-based back-arch (reminiscent of ‘Womanizer’) and, of course, a climactic moment where she’s hoisted overhead, spun around and bounced between her back up dancers like a sparkling, fake tanned beach ball:
Speaking of her feels about leaving the tour, 36-year-old Spears said:
“As I prepare to say goodbye to Piece of Me, I had no idea how magical this experience would be,” Britney said in a press release when she first announced the impending end to her Vegas run. “Having my fans from around the world come see my show has been amazing. I love Las Vegas and will miss performing this show.”
Thankfully, Birtney Binch shows no signs of slowing down the home-based runway performances which have cemented her presence as an online hero we adore, but certainly do not deserve.
