It’s almost that time again, where just about everyone in the Aussie music industry descends on Brisbane‘s Fortitude Valley to cop a peek at a whole smorgasbord of live music showcases, panels, discussions, and general ~schmoozing~ at the annual BIGSOUND festival.

It’s kinda like the Aussie equivalent of SXSW, but instead of strewn across Austin, Texas, the entirety of The Valley is up late all week, only to back it up the next day, Berocca in hand, and sharing a bunch of thought-provoking ideas around the creative industries in Australia.
The first crop of artists you’ll be able to catch across September 3-6, for a very tidy sum of $85. No, I’m not shitting you.
Across 18 stages in the valley, the first 76 performers (!!!) announced for BIGSOUND include the likes of Bad//Dreems, Electric Fields, SCABZ, Outright, Milan Ring, LOSER, Tones & I, and Tasman Keith to name a mere few.
Back to that sweet ticket thing – this year’s Rainbow Pass will set you back $85, and gives you access to all 150 acts (!!!) across all 18 stages throughout the entire four-day bonanza. It’s a hell of a good deal, my friends. You’d almost be a damned fool to let it slip by – especially if you’re in Brissy.
