Much-hyped Harlem MC, the Splendour-bound Azealia Banks has quit the rap game, deleting her capital-T Twitter account and making a career switch to being ‘a vocalist’. Banks took to intellectual proprietor nightmare Tumblr to announce the following after she used her dying moments on The Twit to blast her former manager Troy Carter, who manages that other waning star of the Internet, Lady GaGa (yes, I said it). More on that below, and consider it all [sic]’d:

i never was…. and as soon as i started paying attention to bullshit urban media, i started getting myself in trouble. From now on i’m a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the “rap game”… or whatever the fuck that means…
