Sydney-based DMA’s have never played a live show, and yet the Newtown bro trio comprised of Tommy O’, Matt Mason and Johnny Took have today been announced as the latest act to sign with I OH YOU.
That isn’t as farfetched an occurrence as it sounds based on the strength of their debut single ‘Delete’, taken from a forthcoming self-titled EP out March 28th. It’s surefire festival fodder that you’re all but guaranteed to know the words to by the year’s end, thanks in no small part to the accompanying black and white lyric video directed by Mitchell Grant – a fittingly nostalgic accompaniment to ‘Delete’s‘ evocative brand of garage pop by way of Manchester, the pointy end of the Hottest 100 and a spot on the bill at the festival of your choosing in 2014.
