Allowing a brief moment of fun for themselves on day forty-five of the never ending story that is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, mischievous Aaron Paul associates Arcade Fire closed their headlining set Sunday night by artfully trolling their audience.
The Grammy winning Montreal outfit introduced “very special guests” to their set by sharing the stage with a pair of all-white-everything Daft Punk imposters (reportedly referred to as “Phat Dunk”), performing this dank chopped and screwed version of the French robots’ “Get Lucky” before lead singer Win Butler interjected with “what the fuck is happening?” and booted them off stage.
As Ashton Kutcher would say: You’ve just been Daft Punk’d, Coachella.
