English goth-rock band The Horrors and model Alice Dellal are the latest high profile personalities to use their celebrity for raising Anti Whaling awareness.
The campaign, which stars Dellal and a bucket of suss red fingerpaint, is to promote the International Whaling Commission’s June 21 meeting in Agadir, Morocco, where they will begin voting on whether to lift the 24 year ban on commercial whaling. The Horrors have provided the soundtrack and actor Christopher Eccleston (AKA the ninth incarnation of Doctor Who) narrates the short film.
The footage may offend some viewers. It’s not hugely offensive, but if you’re really into whales or very hungover you might want to tap out now.
