A TRAK ALBUM FOR NIKE

Today just got renamed ‘brand vs artist day’ with A-Trak announcing that he’s teaming up with Nike for an album.

The usual A-Trak electrohop blend will be in full stride soon with its target audience being ‘joggers’, and no that’s not some steezpacked alter ego label tapped to DJ’s, it’s exactly what the traditional use of the word suggests aka joggers>jogging>running>excerise.

‘Making a 45-minute piece was interesting in terms of arrangement,” he says. “Here, a guy is running and it’s all about pacing. You want to keep him in the zone, you want to keep his attention, but at the same time there’s much more room to spread out than on a record I might produce for a club.’ A-Trak explains.

Either way I’m sure it will appeal joggers and disc joggers alike – coming to a gym pavement near you, soon.
