In what has already been a pretty exciting week for fans of celebrities injuring themselves in very public ways, Michael Clifford, the guitarist for Aussie punk pop band 5 Seconds Of Summer, has run afoul of a pyrotechnic display at a show in London.
The band were performing at Wembley Arena on Saturday night when Clifford stepped into a jet of flame during ‘She Looks So Perfect’, singeing his face and hair. Here’s how it played out, right down to the puff of smoke:

Shortly after, the band’s Ashton Irwin informed the crowd of teens, tweens and parents who drew the short straw that the rest of the gig was cancelled, thanking everybody for coming.
Hope he’s back soon. Again, feel better @Michael5SOS. #GetWellSoonMichael pic.twitter.com/yEi70OjBK2

A slightly singed Clifford later posted a photo of his bandaged-up face, and has since been inundated with offers of sex and pancakes.

Today, 5SOS have taught us all a valuable lesson about why it’s important to stay away from gigantic jets of flame.
