2011 Indie Music Award Nominations

Adalita and Seekae lead this year’s Jagermeister Independent Music Awards with four nods apiece. The Sydney three-piece were nominated for Best Independent Artist, Best Independent Album, Best Independent Dance/Electronica Album and Best Dance/Electronica Single, the only conceivable place you’ll see Tonite Only and Collarbones share real estate. The Magic Dirt frontwoman earned nods for Breakthrough Independent Artist Of The Year (this despite forging a career when at least 80% of Oscar + Martin and The Holidays were in primary school), Best Independent Album, Best Independent Single and Best Independent Artist, a category shared with Seekae, Abbe May and triple j darlings Art Vs Science and The Jezabels. Sub in Drapht for The Jezabels and there’s your album of the year nominees too. Full nominations below…
