Over 150,000 incensed Kesha fans have pledged to boycott Sony Music following a court ruling against the musician on Friday.
The Change.Org petition says the decision to boycott comes after a judge denied the musician’s request to have her contract with Sony voided.
#FreeKesha ?? this is only gonna make you stronger, you brave and beautiful girl. Prayers are with you ???? @KeshaRose

On the petition’s page, the founder has included a segment of Michael Jackson’s famous 2001 backlash against the label. In it, Jackson said “these [musicians] worked really hard at their craft, but the story ends the same.”
“They are usually broken, torn and usually just sad, because the companies take advantage of them, they really do.”
Fans are also concerned even that if she does produce music again for the company, they may relegate her to lower levels of publicity and support due to the current legal battle. Kesha’s last album, Warrior, was released in 2012.
