It’s Cheaper Than You Think To Fang ‘Round In A Lambo For The Day

In your brain are you actually James Bond/Jason Statham, and you have a small harem of luxury sports vehicles you can fang around in at will?

Your dream life might not be as far-fetched as you thought. Turns out hiring a Lambo or Ferrari for a day isn’t a bazillion bucks – obviously, it’s not running at $5 a pop, but if driving a swish set of wheels is your thing, you could totally be budgeting it into your life.
Let’s start on the cheaper end. Unique Car Rentals can loan you an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, aka “rich looking convertible”, for $600 a day. Split that with a mate/partner and you’re only forking out $300 each to cruise around feeling top notch.
Moving on up, if you’re based in the sunny GC you can do a full day of fast car goodness with Rent A Dream Car, who offer the Full Day Drive Package for $990, with six hours shared across a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 360 and TVR Tamora. The drive takes you through the beaut hinterland of QLD, and comes with petrol, lunch and morning tea included.
If you’re in Melbs, a Lamborghini Gallardo from Dream Drives Melbourne for a full day, self-drive starts at $1300. Pretty pricey, but guys – it’s the Gallardo.
You can do the same thing in Sydney with the Ferrari California T via Sydney Luxury Car Rentals, for a cool $2500. Ouch! But imagine you + the wind in your hair + a million Instagram selfies standing next to it on a cliff, kinda like this.
Actually, we have a pretty neato solution for this one. Just split that $2500 between 25 friends, like a kind of one-day timeshare situation, and it’ll only cost you $100 each. Actual time in car per person may only be 15 minutes, but damn if that won’t be 15 minutes in heaven.

Although, if you just wanna have enough cash-money to rent one of these babies for yourself…  how ’bout entering our lil’ competition with Set For Life right here, and give winning $20k a try:
