‘Shrooms Are Good For You, Or Are At Least The Goodest Of A Bad Lot

The Global Drug Survey, released Wednesday, has determined that magic mushrooms are the safest drug to take recreationally.
The Survey, led by Dr Adam Winstock of King’s College, London, asked questions of 120,000 people from 50 different countries, including Australia and the UK.
Only 0.2% of recreational drug users described themselves as having to seek emergency medical treatment after taking the world’s most commonly used psychedelic.
Meanwhile, drugs like cocaine and LSD had 1% of global users seeking emergency treatment after use, MDMA 1.2%, methamphetamine 4.8%, and cannabis 0.6%.
The Survey provides data about the drug taking habits of participants, as broken up by type of drug, before delving into the ubiquitous nature of the dark net, and into global drug policing strategies.
