Well, you’ve gotta admit it’s a daring move. The first trailer for season 4 of Bojack Horseman features no Bojack. Zero. The mighty stallion appears not once.
The setup is that Bojack’s been missing for three months, having driven away from Los Angeles at the end of the third season. Now, the central plot of this season seems to be that Mr. Peanutbutter is running for governor of California, because of course.

The show will be available to stream on September 8. Which is very soon! So it’s unlikely Netflix will drop another trailer, so we’ll have to wail ’til then to find out whether Bojack died in the L.A. hinterland or not.
