Let me preface this all by saying I’m not up to date on BoJack Horseman. And I don’t know if I ever will be. I used to watch it before bed and it gave me frustrating dreams of failure and dead ends, I shit you not. So because I’m still on the fence about whether or not I’ll dive back into that hole, this is going to be a very spoiler-free space.
Netflix has shared its final trailer for the devastating series / part 2 of season 6. Look I’ll be honest, I have no idea what’s going on… but it looks… hopeful…
BoJack, voiced by Will Arnett, appears to have started over as a professor at Wesleyan University.
“I made a lot of mistakes, but I look back at that other BoJack and I think, ‘Who is that?'” he says in voiceover. “I’ve had a lot of rock bottoms only to discover a rockier bottom underneath. I used to feel like my whole life is an acting job, doing an impression of the people I saw on television, which was just a projection of a bunch of equally screwed up writers and actors. I felt like a Xerox of a Xerox of a person.”
“But not anymore?” his therapists asks.
All I’ve done is watch the trailer and write a hundred or so words, and I already feel the melancholy looming.
The final episodes of BoJack Horseman hit Netflix January 31.
Now on one hand, I want to catch-up on everything BoJack. On the other, I don’t want to be sad. Real toughie.
