It couple Zoë Foster Blake and Hamish Blake have provided with a little sneak peek in their move from Melbourne to Sydney. And there is truly nothing I love more than seeing other people’s homes, so this truly is a treat.
Zoe did a micro-diary on her Instagram stories, showing her followers the process of moving to Syd (given we are in a pandemic at the moment). The process involved a lot of driving, lollies and looking after their cat Meowbert.
The family decided to make the move from Melb to Syd to better support Zoe and her business, Go-To Skincare. However, it means they have had to leave their perfect Grand Designs home in Richmond, which makes me truly sad. It’s got a hydraulic lift!!!!!
The Sydney property is still pretty ~schmick~ and is situated in the the eastern suburb of Vaucluse. The new crib is 885sqm and sold for whopping $9 million, it’s also just a short commute away from Go-To Skincare’s headquarters.
I reckon Macca’s needs to sponsor people for their road trips, because it seems like they are everyone’s Go-To (wink) food for long-haul trips.
Ahh yes, because no one likes the dreaded pack-followed-by-unpack, because you can’t find the remote.

Zoë Foster Blake and Hamish Blake announced the move in December last year, firmly cementing NSW as a hub for celebs. Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron-Cohen & Isla Fisher, the list goes on.
“Its been on the cards for a while but, and I know this might sound a bit weird, I’m sort of glad we got to spend this last year in Melbourne while we all went through lockdown together, and experience the strength and spirit of this amazing city. I may wander north for a while, but Melbourne, you will always be home,” Hamish wrote on Instagram.
Why would anyone want to leave Melbourne anyway? You know, we have those cool things that no one uses…the Melbourne Star thing and the Eureka Skydeck…
