You Can Take Shia LaBeouf On A Road Trip Anyfuckingwhere For His New #Art

Shia LaBeouf has legitimately been enriching our lives recently with his performance art projects.
There was the ‘Shia watches all of his movies in a row’ live-stream project, so we could all watch him yawn, fall asleep, and intently watch his sex scene from ‘Nymphomaniac Vol. I’.
Then, there was the iconic ‘Just Do It’ video:
Then, there was the ‘Touch My Soul’ project, where he set up a call centre and spoke on the phone to strangers for days in an art gallery.
Now, he (along with his collaborators Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner) has teamed up with VICE for #TAKEMEANYWHERE.
He’s been confusing his Twitter followers by cryptically tweeting coordinates for the past 2 weeks:

What’s happening is that he, Rönkkö and Turner are ~hitchhiking via the world wide web~. So, they’re tweeting their coordinates, and anyone can come pick them up, and take the trio WHEREVER THEY WANT.
“For the next 30 days, LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner will hitchhike using the internet. They’ll do this by tweeting GPS coordinates and the #TAKEMEANYWHERE hashtag via the project’s twitter, @thecampaignbook.

Once the coordinates are tweeted, they’ll wait for a ride (car, train, bus, bike, or piggyback) at that spot, and whoever picks them up first will be able to take the three collaborators wherever they choose.

Where they spend their next 30 days will be left to the sole discretion of those engaging with the project and whoever can get to them the fastest.”
Their entire trip (including photos of the people who pick them up) is here: takemeanywhere.vice.com/
