You Can Now Bet On Which ‘GoT’ Character Will Cop A Solid Murdering Next

We’re in unchartered territory now, dear friends. Unfamiliar seas. Unexplored turf. Untrodden ground.

And by that I mean we’re now living in a world where Game of Thrones the TV series has officially overtaken the books.
Yes, with the onset of season six, everyone is now officially on the same page. Those smarmy types who for the past five years have been smirking behind their lack of surprise and quips of “if you’ve read the books you would’ve already known that” have had their meal ticket finally run out.
Sure, if you’ve PORED over the books and the fan theories and the general art of crafting narrative fiction, you might have a *fair idea* about what fate awaits whom in Westeros. But you don’t know for sure. And that’s the point.
And it’s because of that long-awaited true uncertainty that people can finally do what they’ve clearly been yearning to do for ages: bet the bloody house on it.
Bookmakers in Las Vegas are now listing odds on a variety of different Game of Thrones-related topics, including which of your favourite characters is next on the executioner’s chopping block.
As far as punters are concerned, it’s looking like bad news for your boy Jorah Morment, currently the odds-on favourite to die in the series next at 4:1.
You can also have a flutter on exactly when Arya Stark will get her eyesight back, with the almost unbackable good oil stating that it’ll be in Episode 6, which is currently running at 2:1.
But it gets real interesting when it comes to how the series will end.
Posing the question “Who will be King or Queen of Westeros at the End of the Series?” yields some unique (if not slightly hopeful) results, with the very-much-still-dead Jon Snow running in at a raging hot 5:2 to rule the land when the final credits roll.
The full list of odds looks a little something like this:

Jorah Mormont – 4:1
Alliser Thorne – 5:2

Episode 2 – 10:1
Episode 3 – 5:1
Episode 4 – 5:1

Our advice? Drop a cool $20 on Hodor for Westeros King. It’s a terrible bet, and there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell of it happening, but when someone offers you 500 to 1 on ANYTHING, you take it.
