When holiday-gone-wrong horror movie Wolf Creek came out in 2005 it changed Australian’s perception of roadside assistance – not to mention making every person who watched it shit their pants. What could be more unsettling to audiences than John Jarrat as a psycho killer on the loose with a never ending arsenal of bogan colloquialisms and creative maiming devices.
Prepare to soil your clothes all over again, because The Playlist reports that AFI Award-winning director Greg Mclean is returning with John Jarrat as crazed bogan Mick Taylor in Wolf Creek 2 which starts filming in February 2012.
The filmmaker is keeping details close to his chest, but the first official logline reads: The outback once more becomes a place of mind-bending horror, action and suspense as another unwitting tourist becomes the prey for crazed, serial-killing pig-shooter Mick Taylor.
