We Spoke To Banksy’s Mate (Alter Ego?) Mr Brainwash About The Marriage Of Art And Technology

Produced in association with our mates at Intel Australia.

Only a week has passed since it sounded its spectacular AV swan song, and already we’re counting down the days until Vivid Sydney 2015
At no other time of year is the city so warmly ensconced in the loving embrace of Art and Technology than it is during the fortnight in which Vivid takes place. Filing her third report as the filling in this analogous sandwich is our #inteltablets Vivid Editor Amanda, who has an encounter of the enviable kind with two extraordinary gentlemen in the below video: creative pioneer and Semi-Permanent co-founder Murray Bell, and the singular, larger-than-life artist Mr Brainwash (or Thierry Guetta) – who may or may not be Banksy, depending on whichever theory you subscribe to.

Either way, the two make for a couple of fascinating interview subjects where the future of art and technology is concerned:
All of which wouldn’t have been possible had we not equipped Amanda with an Intel powered Microsoft Surface Pro 2, which runs on Windows 8, is both a laptop and a tablet and everything else in between.
Art and Technology; tablet and laptop – everything’s coming up symbiosis.
