America’s local television stations employing celebrities for their weather forecasts is a curious tradition that we can’t help but admire. Take, for example, the utterly bizarre but equally rewarding pairing of Waka Flocka Flame and a South Carolina news program. Brilliant, no?
Welp, Chicago station FOX 32 decided to go a step further, by nabbing the God of Thunder’s own brother Loki Tom Hiddleston for their forecast. Perhaps they were hoping the Asgardian chief of mischief would eventually tell ol’ mate Thor to quit it with all the fucking thunder, or maybe they were just overcome by his overwhelming dapperness. We’d understand if that were the case.
Anyway, if anyone in the Marvel universe was going to moonlight as a well-dressed meteorologist, it’d probably be Loki, right? X-Men’s Storm is probably a touch over-qualified, and God knows the Hulk would just disappear against the greenscreen. Get around this meteorological silliness below:
