Watch The Stars Of ‘Fantastic Four’ Handle A Sleazy Morning Show Host

Watch [Star] Endure A Terrible Interview is a popular meme right now, especially in the wake of Cara Delevingne‘s uncomfortable morning show experience last week, but the following radio interview with the cast of the new Fantastic Four is so terrifically awkward, it almost feels like it was staged to drum up publicity for the film.
In the blue corner, we have stars Kate Mara, Michael B Jordan and Jamie Bell, who did a good job of keeping their composure as the questions get more and more painful; in the red corner is Steven J Rickman, Atlanta morning show host, possible foot fetishist and generally fairly oblivious dude.
Rickman starts out by asking the “obvious” question of how the hell Mara and Jordan can be brother and sister in the film, when one is black and the other white. After the young stars respond to that question as tactfully as possible, the host turns his attention to Mara – specifically her hair, telling her she’s “way hot” and shouldn’t have cut her hair.
“This is a great interview,” said Mara disparagingly, before the host went on to compliment her on her toes, causing a publicist to cut the chat short. The radio station in question, Rock 100.5, took the footage down, but the internet being what it is, the whole thing is now available for you to watch:
After the interview, Rickman’s co-host Jason Bailey clarified a few points, saying that he was merely interested in finding out the “hipster” back story to this new version of the film.
He continued:
“As for him complimenting her toes and why people are upset about that…sorry…no idea. Steve likes girls’ toes. People should be appreciative when they get complimented. Those that are upset on Twitter I guess don’t get enough of them. Who knows?”
So, um, there you have it. Ladies, if some creepy rando tells you that your toes are sexy, just be grateful for the attention, I guess?
