WATCH: The Full Video Of Kanye’s Rant On “Genius” Donald Trump Is Here

This week, in what will probably go down as a classic Kanye West contrarian move, the rapper, who had previously supported Hilary Clinton‘s campaign, told an audience in San Jose that he would have voted for Donald Trump, had he actually chosen to vote.
According to reports on social media, Kanye paused his Thursday night show for up to an hour, at various points, to share his views on politics, celebrity and president-elect Trump to a crowd who maybe just wanted to hear ‘All Of The Lights‘ and ‘Jesus Walks‘.
Since his initial comments in support of “genius” Donald Trump were reported, a more extensive fan-made video has emerged, cobbled together from various recordings of the night, and it features 16 minutes of that classic Kanye-style proselytising.
In it, he goes into detail about how his management team, including Scooter Braun, warned him not to make his views public before the election, and notes that the Saint Pablo tour was assembled by a bi-partisan team of Democrat and Republican supporters.
He also clarifies his views on various social issues, saying that just because he would have (emphasis, would have) voted for Trump:

“… that don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter. That don’t mean that I don’t believe in women’s rights. That don’t mean that I don’t mean in gay marriage. That don’t mean that I don’t believe in these things because that’s the guy that I wanted to vote for.”
