Well this movie is actually looking pretty exciting, in the big budget, popcorn slinging, crowd pleasing sense. The first Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer is here and it’s full of surprisingly not-too-jarring sassy America: fuck yeah! one liners such as “this isn’t freedom. It’s fear.” and “building a new world sometimes means tearing the old one down” and there are co-starring roles (alongside THE Captain America Chris Evans) from Robert Redford (Alexander Pierce), Scarlett Johansson (reprising her Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow role), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson / The Falcon) and a bunch more. Yes, the villain has long lustrous hair and eyeliner, but if anti-Americans can’t be portrayed as pooncy douchelords why even have movies in the first place?
Shout out to Drazic, the Heartbreak High dude who will never be known to us as Callan Mulvey no matter how hard he tries, who makes a sweet cameo at the 23 second mark.
