After an interminable, chain-smoking wait for more news on the impending Absolutely Fabulous movie, the powers that be have dropped the most conceptually perfect teaser trailer imaginable. Seriously.
What could be better than a hazy, boozy would-be ad to re-introduce legitimate 90s heroes Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders / Patsy and Edina? The answer is nothing, darling. Literally nothing.
The minute-long spot is as perfectly over-the-top glam as you’d expect, and bodes well for the movies’ imminent arrival. We haven’t been this excited since we saw Kate Moss drag herself out of the river Thames, fag still alight, for the very same flick.
