‘Toy Story 4’ Is Coming In 2017

You’ve got a friend in Disney CEO Bob Iger, who has just announced that John Lasseter (Toy Story I and II) will return to direct a fourth Toy Story movie, with both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen also expected to return as Woody and Buzz Lightyear respectively, because money.

Variety are reporting that Iger made the announcement while speaking to Wall Street analysts – a fitting enough place to start the conversation considering the third instalment in the franchise generated $1.1 billion in global box office revenue. Until Frozen overtook it earlier this year, Toy Story 3 was the top-grossing animated film of all time.
Toy Story 4 is expected to be released in June 2017.
