Total BAMF / Oscar Winner Alicia Vikander Is Officially The New Lara Croft

We officially have a new Lara Croft
Alicia Vikander, who won the 2016 Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for ‘The Danish Girl’, will reprise the role made cinematically famous by Angelina Jolie in 2001’s ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ and 2003’s ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life’.
Look, it’s a pretty bloody tough act to follow.
The project from MGM, Warner Bros and GK Films, has Roar Uthaug (‘The Wave’) on board as director, and Graham King as producer.
There’s not a huge amount of information on the film apart from the casting decision currently, but we will update this story as more information arises about the new Lara Croft project. Watch this space.
