In a story that evokes Woody Allen circa Soon-Yi, Lolita protagonist Humbert Humbert and the unequivocal bond between Lassie and Little Timmy, Toowoomba man Joseph Guiso (pictured above) has married his adopted five year old Labrador, Honey. The couple’s nuptials were held at dusk earlier this week in front of their closest friends and relatives.
If that sounds creepy or semi-illegal don’t worry. “It’s not sexual,” Guiso assured everyone. “It’s just pure love.”
Somehow I feel like this fake marriage will last longer than that other fake marriage I wrote about last week. It’s definitely more endearing. Either way, you getting crazy Australia!
