The Stone Cold Aussie Classic ‘Tomorrow, When The War Began’ Is Hitting Netflix Next Month

Netflix has teased its new titles coming to the platform to spice up your iso, including beloved Aussie flick Tomorrow, When the War Began. 

Released in 2011, the action-adventure war drama film was based on the novel of the same name (the first in a series of seven) by John Marsden.

The film stars Caitlin Stasey as Ellie Linton and features an ensemble cast including Rachel Hurd-Wood, Lincoln Lewis and Phoebe Tonkin.

Ellie Linton (Caitlin Stasey), a teen from an Australian coastal town, leads her friends (Rachel Hurd-Wood, Lincoln Lewis) on an excursion to a camp deep in the woods, dubbed “Hell.” Upon their return, the youths find that their town has been overrun by an enemy army, and their friends and family have been imprisoned. When the hostile invaders become alerted to their presence, Ellie and her friends band together to escape — and strike back against — this mysterious enemy.

The flick will be available on Netflix on May 1.
