Time Out, the go-to site for all the happenings across popular cities around the world, is set to launch in Melbourne.
With plans to move beyond it’s Sydney home, Time Out will expand to Melbourne preceding Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth which is great news for all – it’s a nicely penned bi-monthly chronicle offering the best of local events and hands down the best place to find info on places to eat around town – a more generalised version of the excellent Thousand series if you will. It’s about time Time Out spread it’s reach to other cities. It’s counterpart will include a website, that’ll feature daily updates, event listings and venue reviews, as well as a weekly newsletter, monthly magazine and iPhone app.
Time Out, originating as a magazine publication in London in 1968, has come a long way from its alternate, underground press beginnings to becoming an essential online guide to entertainment, food, lifestyle, travels and events in cities worldwide.
No word yet on when the new site will officially launched, but stay tuned ya’ll.
