Channel 9 have just released a new trailer for House Of Hancock, their upcoming TV movie about the rise and rise of Gina Rinehart, and it looks so incredibly good / bad / ridiculous that we can’t even form words.
Go ahead and bask in the glory of this Dallas-Dynasty-Sylvania Waters-Real Housewives mash-up, and then we’ll talk:
Mandy McIlhenny, aka Rhonda from the AAMI commercials, plays Gina, and it seems like they’ve gone out of their way to make her look haggard for the part.
Sam Neill plays Gina’s paterfamilias, mining magnate Lang Hancock, and this was also our face throughout much of the trailer.
Peta Sergant plays scarlet woman Rose Porteus. We’re pretty sure this is exactly how her seduction of Lang played out.
This whole mess is coming ‘soon’, which is not soon enough.
