It’s happening, you guys – the great, big mess of tears, chocolate baths, chardonnay and romance that is The Bachelor Australia is almost upon us!
In a live presentation on Facebook this morning, your boy Osher Gunsberg officially announced the new bunch of bachelorettes, and it looks like season five will be as dramatic as ever.
So, who are the ladies who will be competing for Matty J‘s kind heart and beautiful face? I’M VERY GLAD YOU ASKED.
In alphabetical order – because that’s the way Osher announced them and that’s the way it should be – we have:
- Akoulina, 29, QLD: A gymnastics coach who hates “party boys” and bogans
- Alix, 24, NSW: A body painter, which probably won’t come up at all, hey?
- Belinda, 34, QLD: A Sex & The City–obsessed self-described love coach”
- Cobie, 30, QLD: A coal plant operator who calls herself a “unicorn in a girl’s body”
- Elise, 29, WA: A marketing executive and former Hockeyroo
- Elizabeth, 31, NSW: A property executive
- Elora, 27, NSW: A personal trainer
- Florence, 27, VIC: A brand manager (machine sold separately)
- Jennifer, 27, NSW: A marketing manager who likes dirt bikes and the AFL
- Laura, 30, NSW: An accessories designer
- Laura-Ann, 27, VIC: Probably pretty cut that she has to be the hyphenated Laura
- Leah, 24, VIC: An architecture student and adrenaline sports junkie
- Lisa, 24, VIC: A model and lover of the outdoors
- Michelle, 31, SA: A police officer, which means there will be handcuff jokes
- Monica, 26, VIC: An adventurous medical receptionist
