The Game Rages Over Billboard’s “Best Rappers Ever” List, Makes His Own

Any definitive “Best Of” list is bound to raise the ire of some people, largely because it’s an opinion – a thing that, on the internet, is comparable to a butthole. Everyone has one, but not everyone wants to hear from it.

To wit, Billboard released a list entitled “10 Greatest Rappers of All-Time,” which is the headline equivalent of jamming a stick into a hornet’s nest.
Nevertheless, the list they came up with was seemingly pretty decent, containing a mix of the old and new. And it looked like this:
  1. Biggie
  2. Jay Z
  3. Eminem
  4. Rakim
  5. Nas
  6. Andre 3000
  7. Lauryn Hill
  8. Ghostface Killah
  9. Kendrick Lamar
  10. Lil Wayne
Not too bad, right? Not according to The Game, whose Instagram game is so utterly out of control that his most recent post contains the phrase “Philly, Im in the city…….. I’m came to town to eat every pussy that needs a warm tongue in it for the holidays.
Game took extreme umbrage to Billboard’s list – particularly its exclusion of 2Pac, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dogg – and took it upon himself to create his own “definitive” list. All whilst raging against Billboard.

In case you missed it, Game’s revised list goes:
  1. 2Pac & Biggie (tied)
  2. Nas
  3. Rakim
  4. Eminem
  5. Jay Z
  6. Ice Cube
  7. Snoop Dogg
  8. Andre 3000
  9. Jadakiss
  10. Big L

‘Course it’s all a moot point, really. Because everyone knows who the REAL five best rappers of all time are.

He rips and he rhymes. He rhymes and he rips. That is the way that Dylan spits.
