The Dragon Prince season two trailer is here and it looks like a whole lot of fun… plus more action and dragons.

The animated series comes from Aaron Ehasz, head writer and director of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Justin Richmond – the game director of the third Uncharted game.
The Dragon Prince chucks us into the world of two runaway human princes that form an unlikely friendship with an elven assassin tasked with killing them, all while on a quest to bring peace to their warring lands.
Jack De Sena is the voice of Callum and Sasha Rojen voices little Ezran – the two princes. Paula Burrows stars as elven assassin Rayla.
A quick season one refresher:
- The actual dragon prince Azymondias, otherwise known as Zym, hatches from its eggs
- Claudia and Soren, the siblings who spent a majority of the first season chasing after the princes, successfully track them down
- Soren has been ordered to kill the princes but – *cough cough Zuko-vibes* – there might be a face turn
- Viren, evil self-appointed Lord Protector of Katolis, ends the season by draining the magic out of an elven assassin and going full unhinged
In season two, based off the trailer, it appears the princes and Zayla sort of team up with Claudia and Soren although Zayla’s not a fan of it. We also get a look at some badass sunfire elves!
The animation still looks a bit… funky – fine-tuned but funky – again, once you get used to it you don’t even notice it anymore.
The Dragon Prince season two will hit the streaming giant February 15.
