The 1st Trailer For The ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ Movie Is Here & It’s Spunkyyy

A new trailer for the Rocko’s Modern Life one-hour special has dropped at and I legitimately got shivers when I watched it.

90s nostalgia always seems to hit its absolute peak with cartoons. There were so many good ones that its hard to choose a favourite, but Rocko’s Modern Life was most certainly up there.

The two-and-a-half minute clip shows Rocko, Heffer and Filburt adjusting to the perils of modern life once again, tackling the all the advancements and technologies that have come around since the 90s.
Where have they been for the last 20 years? In August last year, creator Joe Murray told Motherboard that they’ve been floating around in space the whole time. Wild.
When you think about it, a fuckload has changed in 20 years and that’s what we can see in the trailer. Rapidly updating tech, Starbucks are everywhere, energy drinks that are borderline radioactive, it’s all in there.

“Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media and the endless diversity of food trucks,” a Nickelodeon press release announced. “Rocko whole-heartedly believes his nostalgia for the past can save him from the tortures of the modern world.”

The entire original cast of the show are back on board, too, including Carlos Alazraqui (Rocko, Spunky) and Tom Kenny (Heffer, Really Really Big Man).
But enough of my ramblings, check it out for yourself below.
