The 1st Peek At Donald Glover As Young Lando Is Giving Us A New Hope

Look, the stand-alone Han Solo flick hasn’t exactly had the best run of late. Between fired directors, concerns over the performance of leading man Alden Ehrenreich, and a mysterious no-show at Disney’s huge D23 conference, there’s been scarce little good news to go around.
But shit, the film still has Donald Glover as Han’s old mate Lando Calrissian, and newly-installed director Ron Howard has just provided us with the first blessed glimpse of the interstellar smuggler. That’s worth getting excited about.

The film’s new don posted a cheeky Instagram update from the set, and Glover can clearly be seen on one of his monitors. Is the image small? Sure. But it still counts, and it is our solemn duty to provide you with any and all updates on Glover’s already-excellent career.

The film is poised for a US release date of May 25, 2018 – if the film escapes even more production dramas.
