As your Halloween hangover slowly abates and the realities of another working week sink in, come with us as we squeeze the last few drops out of the Halloween goon bag, and look through some of the best and worst costumes that Australia’s own celebrities served up.
From the good to the very good to Hugh Jackman, here’s your Halloween 2015 Costume Round-Up: ‘Strayan Edition.
Bachelor Sam Wood went as Wally, but clearly did not do a very good job, because look, there he bloody well is in the middle of the picture. NICE TRY, SAM WOOD, BUT WE FOUND YOU.
Miranda Kerr went as the White Swan, and it was perfect.
It was one of several Halloween looks for Kerr this year, she also hit the skeleton circuit while trick or treating with her ~gorgey~ son Flynn.
Let’s TACO ’bout this Aussie legend who decided that his delish Mexican food costume just would not be complete without a full range of condiments to accompany him. Nice one, Taco dude.
Iggy Azalea went as Iggy Azalea’s version of a sexy cat, giving us firm #costumegoals for next year.
Holy ‘Straya! The caption is so en pointe, we’ve never resonated with a costume more. A++++.
Ruby Rose slayed as a skeleton.
Look at this little champ! Ain’t he just the cutest goddamn avocado we’ve ever goddamn seen. We could just spread him on sourdough and eat him for brunch.
Nina Las Vegas presumably picked this look up at a Halloween outlet store.
Jessica Rowe gave us crazy cat lady chic.
Hamish Blake dressed his son up as either Siegfried or Roy, complete with a cat as a baby tiger, and we can’t anymore, because this is too much.
Em Rusciano went as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Dia De Los Muertos, possibly, but whatever she is, we’re feeling it.
Tully Smith channelled The Craft, of which we wholeheartedly approve:
We’ve already introduced you to Melbourne fighter of evil & drinker of boxed wine Sailor Goon, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t include her in our ‘Strayan best of. This woman is our hero.
Finally, the ‘At Least You Tried, Dad’ award goes to Hugh Jackman, who rocked up as some kind of nu-rave Mario.
Much like Alison Wonderland, we are now dead. BYEEEE.
