Sophie Lowe (The Slap, Beautiful Kate, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland) has been cast in Carlton Cuse’s 10 episode A&E drama series, The Returned.
Not to be confused with Resurrection an American series adapted from author Jason Mott’s 2013 novel The Returned, the show is a remake of the French TV series Les Revenants (translation: The Returned), itself an adaptation of the 2004 French film ‘They Came Back’.
So it’s the unnecessary remake of a show based on a film that’s freakishly similar to another show based on a novel. And at least three of those things is called The Returned. Confused?
Just ignore everything else and watch the French one.
