This story emerged after one of our staffers noticed Vance Joy “like” a photo from Sophie Lowe’s account last weekend. That in and of itself is obviously nothing – people like Instagram photos all the time. However, a quick glance at Sophie’s account brings up this photo:

Now, someone *might* take a photo like that and upload it of their friend. They might. That wouldn’t be weird or out of the blue. But would you do that when you’re a semi-famous actor and the guy in question is a VERY famous muso? That is the question.
Then it gets weird.

We have a dark wooden table. It’s sunny. The dates are similar. That is literally all we have to go on here. We told you this was all based on coincidences and shit, ok guys?
We did a very quick Google and there’s nothing tying these two together (as in, Sophie has not been in a Vance Joy clip or anything). So to conclude – they could just be mates. They might be dating. They might have dated ONCE. They may not be at the same cafe having a cute and romantic brunch in that last set of pics, but also they may be at the same cafe having a cute and romantic brunch in that last set of pics.
We don’t know. But it LOOKS SUSS.
